I am a 50-something mother of four wonderful children.  Our youngest is in her second year of college, so I’ve had a few months to get used to this “empty nester” phase that my husband I have entered.  I have to admit that it’s taken me quite a while to feel comfortable with more time on my hands.  I had gotten used to hectic schedules, a cluttered house and loads of laundry.

I’ve now begun to realize that I have more time to do the things I love doing–making things.  I’m no artist.  I consider myself a crafter.  I’m good with a paper, scissors, paint and a saw and drill.

I’m excited to start this blog to share my ideas/creations with the hope that I might inspire you to create something wonderful.
